Maple Hill High Class of 1982 Celebrates a 40th Reunion

Dear 1982 Classmates,
Congratulations to the Class of1982 on celebrating 40 years since we graduated. And to the Class of 2022, congratulations on your graduation achievement; it truly is an honor to be a Wildcat alumni!

The solid footings from which we stand together as the Class of 1982, reminds me that we share a common bond of experience, friendship, and love. Looking about today we see a different world, and for myself I am immediately thankful for our bond. Together, we were shaped by the greater Castleton and Schodack communities, churches, teachers, care givers, and parents who took the the time to connect with us in so many of those healthy ways. At this time, we need a few more laughs, a few more connections, and to see a few more smiles; to reconnect. So on Friday, June 24th at 5pm we invite all Maple Hill High Teachers and Alumni to come together for the first ever all Maple Hill Happy Hour held at Fort Orange Brewing in Albany, NY.
This is new and exciting, so please share with everyone. Our Class of 1982's main event celebration is Saturday, June 25, 2022 at 1pm, a casual BBQ for you and a guest. Previous to our Class Reunion BBQ, we can tour Maple Hill High School...where it all began. As you appreciate how we grew up together and our Maple Hill bond as classmates, remember our theme for our celebration, "connect & give back." MHHS Class of 1982 announces a partnership with Schodack Central School's Backpack program for food insufficiency in the Castleton and Schodack areas for all families with a student in grades K-12. Let us explore how we can make that small difference and put a smile on the face of a future Maple Hill graduate. Thank you for all those who have volunteered their time in making these events a success, the Fort Orange Brewing Company, and special consideration of thanks for Class of 1982 artists, Barb Sheldon and Shelly Edwards for stepping up to donate their art for fundraising for the Backpack program. The Class of 1982 connects and gives back.
